From cast iron to the grid iron

RGH surprises with big win at culinary competition


Jalapeno Coconut Sauce:

1 fresh jalapeno, seeded

1 cup coconut milk

1 teaspoon fresh, chopped ginger

Heat on stove to soften pepper and ginger. Cool mixture and puree until smooth.


Sunset Ale

1 shot tequila

1 shot orange juice

Fresh lime or lemon, juiced


Splash of grenadine to finish

Add above ingredients, in order, to glass and serve.


Cilantro Lime Pale Ale

Muddle (with mortar and pestle) fresh cilantro, a shot of tequila and lime juice.  Place in a margarita glass. Pour a quality chilled IPA over top and serve.
