The 2008 Taste of Home Cooking School will be Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 10-11, at the Tamarack Conference Center in Beckley.
The Register-Herald joins the conference center, Sears and Wal-Mart of MacArthur in bringing back the cooking school that has drawn a packed house each year.
The Nov. 10 show begins at 6:30 p.m. with doors opening at 4:30 p.m. The Nov. 11 show begins at 3 p.m. Doors open at 1 p.m.
National sponsors are Crisco, Crosse & Blackwell, Dickinsons, Dofino and Taste of Home Entertaining.
This year’s theme, “Homemade for the Holidays,” will be filled with great recipes and entertaining tips that will relieve your entertaining jitters, according to culinary specialist Cheryl Cohen, this year’s presenter.
Tickets are $12 each and go on sale Sept. 16. Call The Register-Herald’s business office at 304-255-4409.
