Concord takes 29-26 victory over Seton Hill


GREENSBURG, Pa. — West Liberty 17, Shepherd 16

WEST LIBERTY — A missed extra point by the Rams with 1:33 to play proved to be the difference in the game as the Hilltoppers’ Marco Ricchetti recovered the ensuing kick-off to secure the win over No. 25 Shepherd.

Dylan Lagarde completed 18 passes for 242 yards for West Liberty. Tristen Devers hauled in five passes for 90 yards. Trueblood rushed for a touchdown.

For the Rams, Bobby Cooper connected on 19 passes for 200 yards and a touchdown to Brown. Larry Lowe led the team with 64 yards receiving. Dalton Boyd rushed for a game-high 47 yards on one carry.

Defensively, the Hilltoppers were guided by Kyle Agustin’s 14 total tackles, 10 of which were solo stops. He also forced a fumble.

 Bryan Blue registered a team-best 11 tackles for the Rams.

Glenville State 29, West Virginia State 12

GLENVILLE —  Justin Feagin paced GSC with 159 yards through the air to go along with a touchdown pass to Rahman Lee. Lee had a team-high three catches for 78 yards and a score. On the ground, Quin Thornton had five carries for 101 yards and a touchdown while Lee rushed for 92 yards and two scores.

 For the Yellow Jackets, Ricky Phillips completed 15 passes for 207 yards and a score to Ervin Kent. Kent had five catches for 112 yards. On the ground, Aubura Taylor piled up 103 yards on 30 carries.

The Pioneers were guided by Devin Cain’s 12 tackles, including 2.5 for a loss of three yards.

In the loss, Calem Bridgette tallied six solo stops to go along with three pass break-ups.

Charleston 42, No. 24 UNC Pembroke 30

PEMBROKE, N.C. — The University of Charleston led 21-3 lead after the first quarter against No. 24 UNC Pembroke.

Maurice Leak threw for 150 yards while Roberts completed a pass for a 31-yard score. Shaq Williams hauled in seven catches for 96 yards and a touchdown. Jordan Roberts caught four passes for 35 yards and he rushed for 144 yards and two scores. Leak rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown. Roberts had a huge day overall, accounting for 296 all-purpose yards.
