Justin Fritts hit 12-of-14 shots, including seven-of-eight from downtown, for a game-high 31 points to lead the Cardinals. Joe Prati buried seven-of-nine shots from the floor and hit nine-of-10 charity tosses for 26 points. He also pulled down seven boards.

Shepherd 76, Elizabeth City State 70

SHEPHERDSTOWN — Senior forward Chad Moore (Winchester,VA/John Handley) scored 25 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Rams. Junior guard Marcus Pilgrim (Mitchellville, MD/Bishop McNamara) contributed 14 points.

Lenoir-Rhyne 64, West Virginia State 51

MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – West Virginia State was tied at the break, but managed just 30.6 percent shooting in the second half at the 47th Annual Mount Olive College Pickle Classic. David Ford and Anton Hutchins each had 11 points for the Yellow Jackets.

Ohio Dominican 91, Ohio Valley 72

COLUMBUS, Ohio – A cold-shooting first half put Ohio Valley in a 22-point halftime deficit. The Fighting Scots were paced by Neil Gingerich’s 18 points off the bench.


Charleston 93, Slippery Rock 76

CHARLESTON, — Charleston gave Adam Collins his first win with a 93-76 victory Saturday night in Eddie King Gym.

LeAnne Ross paced the scoring effort by UC with 20 points and six rebounds, while Nicole Perry added 19 points and four assists.

Cal State Monterey Bay 64, Shepherd 56

BELMONT, Calif. — Junior forward Jimyse Brown and sophomore center Gabby Flinchum each recorded 14 points and six rebounds.

Senior forward Emily Daniel, a former Shady Spring all-stater, added eight points, six assists, and four rebounds.

St. Augustine’s 83, Davis & Elkins 76 (OT)

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Senators saw a three-point lead slip away in the final 40 seconds. Jorden Lykes led D&E with a game-high 22 points and also pulled down eight rebounds.

Tiffin 50, Wheeling Jesuit 47

WHEELING — Breanna Butler paced WJU with 14 points, followed by Jamie Sobczak and Taneka Lewis with nine and eight, respectively.

West Chester 90, West Virginia Wesleyan 72

WEST CHESTER, Pa. — Atavia Blake netted a game-high 25 points on 10-of-18 shooting for Wesleyan. Brittany Maxey chipped in 10 points, eight rebounds and five assists.

Shippensburg 76, West Liberty 68

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. — Host Shippensburg (2-1) cashed   in a staggering 34-of-41 foul tosses to hold the Hilltoppers (2-2) at bay.

Hillary Southworth had a team-high 19 points for West Liberty, while Meghan Wiseman added 16 points and 4 blocked shots.

California, Pa. 102, Glenville State 55

CALIFORNIA, Pa. — Kenyona Simmons registered a team-best nine points for the Pioneers. Ashleigh Fossett and Ginny Mills each had eight points. Madison Martin chipped in six as did LaToya Hambrick.
