RICHMOND, Ind. — RICHMOND, Ind — The West Virginia Miners rallied from a three-run first-inning deficit to defeat the Richmond RiverRats 9-5 Wednesday.

Westyn Baylor hit a three-run bomb, while Grant Massey and Rob Youngblood each had three hits on the night to lead the Miners’ attack.

The two teams face-off again tonight in game two of a three-game series at 7:05 p.m.
