Construction is under way for two new restaurants in Beckley — Five Guys Burgers and Fries and Dickey’s Barbecue Pit.
Eric Cornett, Chief Operating Officer at Paramount Development Corp., said both food locales should be up and running by the end of the year.
Both Five Guys and Dickey’s will be on North Eisenhower Drive in the building previously occupied by Cici’s Pizza.
“We’re excited to have some additional food options,” Cornett said. “It’s great to have two national brands coming to town.”
Five Guys offers burgers, fries, hot dogs and sandwiches, with as many free toppings as you want.
According to their website, www.fiveguys.com, there are over 250,000 possible ways to order a burger at Five Guys.
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit offers a variety of “Texas-style” barbecue sandwiches, meats, side dishes and meals.
The first Barbecue Pit was opened in Dallas in 1941 by Travis Dickey and the chain has grown ever since.
Their full menu can be viewed at www.dickeys.com.
