Rish Equipment Co. recognized the achievements of its sales representatives at its Feb. 8 annual awards banquet held at The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels.
The banquet is also an opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of manufacturers and other local businesses that contribute to Rish’s achievements.
Among the top award winners were Antonio Selario, John Rocca and Bob Weikle, each of whom received a Market Share award.
In addition, Selario received the Highest Sales Volume award, Rocca took home the Highest Market Share in Virginia honor and Weikle earned the Highest Market Share in West Virginia award.
Other Market Share award winners were Rock Mullenax, Todd Kyle and Paul Clower. Sales Quota awards went to Ian MacFarlane, Paul Calvert, Chip Bohlen and Todd Kyle.
A number of Rish’s manufacturers also attended the banquet including Komatsu, Atlas Copco, Dynapac, LeeBoy, NPK, ESCO and Hensley.
Local business were represented including Frank Wilkinson of First Century Bank, Bob Bidinger of PNC Bank, Richard Tilson of Sentry Insurance and Mike Smith from Wells Fargo Insurance Services.
The featured speaker for the event was Gene Thompson, vice president of Kokosing Construction Co., which is involved in national contracting organizations.
He actively participates in the legislative process in West Virginia and at the federal level and he has served for years on the West Virginia State Contractor License Board. He is immediate past president of the Contractors Association of West Virginia and chairman of Contractors Association of West Virginia Scholarship Foundation.
Thompson spoke about concerns for highway funding for West Virginia and Virginia.
