Aspen Corp. Vice President Ronnie Adkins was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Golf Course Builders Association of America (GCBAA). The appointment was made as Adkins attended the Golf Course Industry Show held in San Diego in early February.
Adkins is also a Certified Golf Course Superintendent (CGCS).
“I’ve been in the golf industry for more than 30 years,” he said. “I’ve seen a lot of changes, some good for our industry and others, not so much. Through it all, I have always worked toward the highest standards on each project, and am honored to count many friends in the industry, including the owners, architects, consultants and other vendors that we have worked with.
“I’m honored to serve on the Board and hope to contribute to the success of our industry for the changing landscape of the golf market.”
Aspen is a full-service golf course construction company, specializing in renovation, restoration, new golf course construction, irrigation and athletic fields. It is a charter member of the GCBAA with four Golf Course Industry Builder Excellence Awards to its credit, including an award for The Resort at Glade Springs’ Woodhaven Golf Course.
