Sophia store reopens in downtown location

Last August, a fire forced Real Wood Unfinished Furniture out of its quarters in downtown Sophia.

Friday, the store was reborn at its new location, 145 Main St., also in Sophia.

Janet R. Quesenberry, owner and manager, commented, “We are so pleased to be back in Sophia at our new location.”

The store celebrated with a ribbon-cutting and open house Friday afternoon.

The new store is just one storefront from the previous location, next door to the Sophia Landromat.

“We carry the same great quality all wood furniture you’ve come to expect and enjoy from us for the last 20 years. We look forward to serving our large customer base and new customers throughout West Virginia and Virginia,” said Quesenberry.

Real Wood Unfinished Furniture started in 1994 in Sophia.

The new store is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Customers may also shop 24/7 online at
