Although Mountain State University has announced that its doors will close Dec. 31, Director of Public Relations Andy Wessels said business is going on as usual at the MSU bookstore.
The bookstore has been running a 25 percent discount sale on MSU merchandise for the past few weeks, according to Wessels, but few items have been sold.
Textbooks are still being received at the bookstore for the fall semester.
“We’re still trying to find out what classes will be taught where,” Wessels said, so the bookstore will continue to sell the needed supplies.
Wessels said at this time, it is unknown what will be done with any leftover merchandise when the school closes. The University of Charleston is set to take over the campus Jan. 1, 2013.
