BECKLEY —
If you’re looking for a place to host a party, baby shower, wedding reception, conference or other event, Eisenhower Conference Center may be just the venue you need.
Located at 321 S. Eisenhower Drive, the rental space can accommodate anywhere from 80 to 100 guests.
Managing director Fawaz Awan says, “The Conference Center is situated in an ideal location, near the Little League field and sheriff’s office just beside I-64. It is easy to locate and extremely accessible. The prices are extremely reasonable; we offer many amenities, such as a full working kitchen, that our competitors don’t offer.”
A sound system is available for conference use only, but guests are welcome to bring in their own sound systems.
Rates are $3 per person for parties over 35 people, and a flat rate of $100 if the party is less than 35.
Discounts are available for health care industry workers, teachers, nonprofit organizations, state or federal organizations, MSU alumni and students.
Special promotions going on right now include $25 off on weekends and $50 off on weekdays.
Owner Samia Mustafa wanted to do something for the community, “to bring people closer by providing a place where friends and families can come together and be at ease.”
“Making this space available for rent allowed reaching out to a larger part of the community that may not be able to afford such expensive places due to the difficult economic times,” Awan said.
Awan says guests are allowed to do their own catering and the parking lot has been newly renovated to offer ample parking space for guests.
The rental space is available all hours of the day and all days of the week. No alcohol is allowed at any event or on the premises at any time.
“I hope to increase awareness for this locally owned and operated business and present an alternate to people to hold their events.”
