Representatives from 20 companies will be at The Register-Herald Fall Job Fair Wednesday at the Tamarack Conference Center on Harper Road in Beckley.
The fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., where representatives will speak with potential employees about available positions.
“The job fair gives the unemployed a chance to meet face to face with companies who are taking applications,” said Diana Slone, classified advertising manager for Beckley Newspapers.
“Employers can get a feel of the personalities of the people, as well as the qualifications for the job they might be looking for.”
Job seekers are asked to bring their resumes Wednesday.
Free parking and free admission will be available. Two $50 Walmart gift cards will be given away.
