It wasn't easy, but the Westside Lady Renegades will be playing for a state championship tomorrow in Charleston after defeating Keyser 56-44.
Westside (20-3) had the lead for the majority of the game, buy Keyser tied it late at 39 before the Renegades went on a 10-0 run.
Despite struggling from the line, Westside hit several key free throws down the stretch to seal the victory.
Hope Leser had a game-high 26 points and finished a rebound shy of a double-double with 9 boards. Danielle Brown and Faith Davis each had 10 points.
Lexi Carr led Keyser (24-3) with 14 points.
Westside will play the winner of Fairmont Senior and Sissonville in the championship game Saturday at noon.
