WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS —
It's official. Jimmy Buffett and Maroon 5 will headline the 2014 Greenbrier Classic Concert Series, coinciding with the fifth annual Greenbrier Classic, June 30-July 6 at The Greenbrier.
With more than 17 million albums sold worldwide, Maroon 5 will bring their popular hybrid rock/R&B sound to The Greenbrier Classic on Friday, July 4, as fans celebrate America’s birthday at America’s Resort. The three-time Grammy Award winning group, with frontman Adam Levine, is a powerhouse in popular music whose releases have gone gold and platinum in over 35 countries.
Singer, songwriter and best-selling author Jimmy Buffett, a legend of popular culture, the composer of such classic songs as Margaritaville, Come Monday, and Cheeseburger In Paradise, will round out the star-studded lineup at the 2014 Greenbrier Classic Concert Series. Buffett will perform on Saturday, July 5.
“We couldn’t be happier to have such an acclaimed group as Maroon 5 and such an iconic American artist like Jimmy Buffett join The Greenbrier Classic Concert Series,” said Jim Justice, owner of The Greenbrier. “Both are incredible performers and their shows are second to none—making them the perfect performers to match the world’s best golfers who will be teeing off on The Old White TPC course that week!”
Admission to either the Maroon 5 or Jimmy Buffett concert is included with the purchase of a weekly Greenbrier Classic tournament badge, which is priced from $60 per person. Additional badge types are available that include both concerts.
