Summers County defeats Ravenswood 69-43 in girls state basketball semifinal game

    Several area high school basketball teams found themselves state ranked, as the Associated Press released its boy's and girl's poll Monday afternoon.
    A couple of them even saw themselves placed at the coveted top spot - No. 1.
    Woodrow Wilson's boys and Greenbrier East's girls lead the Class AAA polls.

    New River Gorge Bridge reopened to traffic

    Authorities reopened traffic on all four lanes of the New River Gorge Bridge late Thursday morning after access was shutdown around 6 a.m.
    Reports indicate that a man was threatening to jump and that police negotiators had been called to the scene to assist.
    No other information was available at 11:15 a.m.
