Ali Katrib scored in the 82nd minute to lift the Cougars, not only to the win, but to the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular season championship.
Katrib took a free kick from 35 yards out. The ball curved around Asbury’s defensive wall and bounced off the keeper’s hands into the goal.

“We played 65 minutes in their half of the field,” coach John Birkelbach said. “This was a huge result.”
MSU will host the KIAC tournament Nov. 7-8.
