Harrisville’s Sydney Snodgrass holds the trophy for winning the West Virginia Women’s Amateur Thursday at the Stonehaven Course at The Resort at Glade Springs. The senior-to-be at Ritchie County High School posted a three-round total of 221, five strokes over par. She topped Shepherdstown’s Kimberly Wilson by one stroke and Morgantown’s Nicolle Flood-Sawczyszyn by two. Beckley’s Janie Webber won the first flight with a score of 239, good enough for a 10th place overall finish. Bridgeport’s Caroline Ramsey won the low senior award with a 235
