Sid Shuffle

Students at Collins Middle School in Oak Hill do the Sid Shuffle in front of the school Tuesday afternoon. According to a press release from the school, the “Let’s Move, WV, Let’s Dance” initiative promoted by the West Virginia Department of Education’s Office of Healthy Schools has been in full swing for the last few months at Collins Middle School. A challenge was sent out to all students to get moving and to get dancing. Students have been learning the Sid Shuffle from the movie “Ice Age 4.” in their gym classes, in their developmental guidance classes and even at times in the hallways of Collins Middle School. The idea is to get together and have fun while getting into better shape.
