Woodland Oaks Garden Club members Wanda Perry, left in back, and Loretta Lively watch as three members of Boy Scout Troop C418, of Allentown, Pa., place mulch around a forsythia shrub they planted Thursday along the White Oak Rail Trail in Oak Hill as part of the Reaching The Summit Community Service Initiative. All told, said Woodland Oaks past president and project chairman Sadie Brash, 40 pink rhododendron were planted in the shaded portions of the trail and 20 forsythia were planted in the sunny portions.
