Pictured is the front entrance to the new Calacino’s Pizzeria located on Robert C. Byrd Drive intersection with Maxwell Hill Road in Beckley. Calacino’s has returned, under new ownership. Founded in 1930, Calacino’s was the area’s first pizzeria and a popular roadhouse hang-out for young people.
