This weekend, Woodrow Wilson High School thespians will wow audiences with a tale as old as time. The much-anticipated “Beauty and the Beast” opens Saturday, presented in 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. shows, and will run Jan. 17, 18, 19 with 7 p.m. showtimes. Music teacher Dawn McGinnis said this year’s production will be the largest, most complex and visually stunning the area has seen from the school. Including technicians, around 100 students will be involved in this year’s production of the Disney classic.
