Monte Ray Durham, an Oak Hill native who has made his mark on the international world of wedding planning, bridal consulting and style, is celebrating the one-year anniversary of Studio M, which he runs. He’s also managed to add to his impressive collection of Jackie Kennedy memorabilia. Most recently, he’s been loaned an original Bachrach portrait of Jackie the bride. It’s the perfect complement to his exact replica of the wedding gown and veil she wore when she married John F. Kennedy. And it goes nicely with a duplicate version of the stemware the former first lady purchased from a West Virginia glass company to place in the White House; Durham has his own set.
