Billy “The Kid” Karbonit was a key player in Woodrow Wilson’s undefeated run to the 1962 state championship. His layup in the final seconds of the title game gave the Flying Eagles the win over Weirton. The 1962 team will be inducted into the Woodrow Wilson Hall of Fame on Saturday.
