A “traveling” trophy given to Hollywood Elementary School at last year’s 5K/10K sponsored by the Raleigh County Solid Waste Authority, will go to the school with the highest representation of students at this year’s Concord University Fun Run portion of the Earth Day event, April 27. RCSWA Education Director Sherrie Hunter credits organizers Lori Pace, George Barbara and the Board of Directors with having the vision to support the annual race for a growing number of active southern West Virginia families.
