The upcoming Sept. 8 Appalachian Du/Triathlon is Carolyn’s fulfillment of her husband’s commitment to give back by fighting pancreatic cancer. Both he and Carolyn loved adventure and the outdoors. “It’s one of the reasons we moved to West Virginia,” she states.
