Flight training is a course of study used when learning to pilot an aircraft. The overall purpose of primary and intermediate flight training is the acquisition and honing of basic airmanship skills, according to Jack Clemens, who operates Jack’s Flying Service at the Raleigh County Memorial Airport. He has been a flight instructor for many years and has a safety record to be proud of. His favorite airplane for teaching students to fly is a Cessna 150. “It was built to be a trainer and it responds well and it is a forgiving airplane.” Clemens can be reached by phone at 304-573-3438 or 304-253-1632.
