Local Italian masons built the walls along Keller Avenue, Court Street and Maple Avenue in Fayetteville between 1910 and 1920. The sandstone walls are now leaning and falling apart, and in need of repair, but who will pay for those repairs is in doubt. Neither the city nor property owners are claiming responsibility.
