A line of trick-or-treaters, left photo, prepare to enter the Sophia fire station Saturday for the Sophia Tailgate Halloween with an old hearse in front for a ghoulish touch. Around 1,100 children attended the event, with treats handed out by area businesses. The event, originally scheduled for Oct. 31, was postponed because of Superstorm Sandy.
