Mount Hope community volunteer workers help clear brush as they try to restore the town’s historic MacDonald Cemetery. People have been working since late spring, making improvements to the cemetery, which is said to contain graves that date back to the Civil War. Workers from the Fayette County Community Corrections Program’s day report center have helped in the effort.
