Barbara Daniel, a member of the Beckley Art Group, is shown with a group of 11 paintings donated by local artists for a sale to benefit the building of a new art gallery. Money from the sale will be combined with grants, a recent fundraiser and a generous donation by Beckley businessman Dan Bickey. The new structure, which was built on the foundation of the Beckley Art Center on Johnstown Road, will be named the Cynthia Bickey Gallery.
