Members of New Era Baptist Church in Stanaford say this small office inside the church building was found ransacked Wednesday evening. Inside the 90-year-old, 16-member church, powdered cleanser was dumped throughout the building, a Bible was thrown onto the floor and the initials of a hate group were written on a chalkboard. Most members are black. Nothing was found stolen, so church members believe destruction was the perpetrators’ motivation.
